Ostec and Ekoplast held a joint seminar “Russian-made cable support systems”. The proposals of the two companies complement each other: the first produces all the main types of ladders, and the second - a wide range of cable ducts.
Ostek manufactures rolling (perforated and non-perforated, with and without a lid), wire and ladder trays. Unlike the products of some other Russian manufacturers, the edge of the Ostek tray is completely seamed. This excludes both a cut in the cable during its installation and injury to the installer. In addition, additional stiffening ribs (so-called "ridges") give the product additional strength.
Since the middle of last year, the production of wire trays has been launched, and the galvanizing is done after welding.
The factories are located in Moscow and the Moscow region: MZSA produces up to 15 km of trays and lids of non-standard configurations, and the plant in Elektrostal is capable of producing up to 250 km of trays per month when working in one shift. This performance is said to be sufficient to meet current demand. The equipment is currently being replaced. As a result, the lineup will be significantly updated and, in accordance with the plans, will be available for order in August.
According to Ekoplast, by 2010 more than 80% of the market's demand for cable channels will be met by domestic products, which should be facilitated by the constant improvement of its quality and expansion of the range. Taking this into account, the company has introduced double quality control at each stage at its plant in Tver and is constantly expanding the range of products. In particular, the Insta range has been expanded to include TEC trunks for long distance cabling and mini MEX trunks where only one or two cables need to be laid.
In addition to boxes, corrugated and smooth pipes are offered. And recently a series of TOR mini-columns has been produced. It is designed for organizing workplaces in open interiors, allowing the supply of electrical and information networks. The design of the columns is designed for fastening installation modules 45 * 45 and 45 * 22.5 mm and provides a build-up of "floors" to service the required number of workplaces.
