Installation platform
The mounting pad is used to fasten wires, cables and loops with using clamps and other fastening methods. It provides a simple, easy laying of bundles of wires in one place and can be attached to any surface.
Types of fasteners
The fastener is in the shape of a square or rectangle. By constructive features of the mounting sites are:
- With a mounting hole (abbreviation PMO.) Allows using one self-tapping screw or screw, attach the bundles of wires, tightened with a clamp, to surfaces from any material. Thus, to produce both temporary and permanent organization of cabling. Plus a screw pad also used to secure other lightweight objects.
- Self-adhesive. Used in places where damage is undesirable fixing surface, such as furniture or tiles.
Installation features
Products with a mounting hole are fixed with self-tapping screws or dowel-nails. If fastening is carried out, for example, in concrete, then first you need to drill out hole 6 mm and insert a regular dowel into it. Then the cables are fixed to mounting pad with nylon clamps. You can access the mounting sites attach a bundle of cables at once, which saves time on drilling holes.
Self-adhesive products are even easier to install. You need to choose the surface of the attachment, and also degrease it. Then remove the protective layer, fix it in the selected position for 20-30 seconds.
