Fire resistant cable line
A fire-resistant cable line is a cable line and wiring that can remain operational in a fire. OKL is a certified system consisting of a fire-resistant cable and cable support systems.
Design features
Types of fire-resistant lines depending on the design:

Testing
The fire-resistant cable line undergoes mandatory certification tests. The performance of the OKL is determined according to the methodology of GOST 53316-2009. The main requirement for testing a fire-resistant cable line is the joint testing of all elements included in the cable line, namely: the cable laid in the cable support system, the fastening system and junction boxes that provide fire-resistant cable switching.
The cable line in the design is installed in a test oven in accordance with the technical documentation. Test equipment is connected to the established cable samples, and the operating time of the cable line is measured under fire conditions created in the test chamber. Subsequently, the time is displayed in the test report.
Appointment
Certified flame retardant cable lines are used:
- fire protection systems (SPZ);
- in warning systems and management of evacuation of people in case of fire (SOUE);
- in ventilation and smoke protection systems;
- in internal fire-fighting water pipes;
- in elevators for transporting fire brigades.
