Metal double-foot bracket

One of the most common ways to lay cable lines is installation in metal hoses or PVC pipes. This type of installation is carried out in residential and commercial premises in an open way - on the ceiling or walls. For fastening the cable lines to the surface, metal one-foot or two-foot brackets are used.

Design

Staples - a metal profile curved with a semi-shaft with one or two perpendicularly spaced legs. Along the entire length of the bearing part of the staple a stiffener is located, passing along the arched bend of the bracket, significantly increases the permissible loads.

The legs have fastening holes for screws or dowel nails. Two-foot staples differ from single-foot staples:

  • used for highly loaded areas;
  • Recommended for ceiling mount electrical wiring.

Metal staples "Ekoplast" are made of steel with subsequent galvanized. This coating protects the product from corrosion.

Applications

For fastening metal hoses, steel and polymer pipes.

Metal mounts are interchangeable with plastic ones, but the latter are more suitable for home renovations. Metal fasteners are used mainly in professional construction and industrial facilities. For example, a galvanized metal bracket can be used to route a power cable in a metal hose. Strong fixation allows safe cable routing.

Mounting methods

The method of fastening the metal double-foot bracket depends on the type surfaces (ceiling, floor, wall). For example, to wood or metal the bracket is fixed to the profile with self-tapping screws, and to brick or concrete - dowel-nails go with the agreed self-tapping screws.

The holes on the legs of the product are made with the possibility of a small free displacement of the bracket without complete dismantling.
