Pipe clip
For communications, plastic pipes are often used, which have a service life of more than 50 years, and are also cheaper than metal analogs. For high-quality installation of engineering systems, fasteners are used items such as clips. Thanks to such fasteners, you can not only fix pipes on the wall, but also place them on the floor and even on the ceiling.
Design
The clip is the simplest fastener for plastic pipes. She has base, which is fixed on the surface of the pipe and 2 bows capable of change position under the influence of pressure. These bows after termination mechanical impacts return to their original position. That's why the clip prevents the pipe from jumping out of the groove and ensures its reliable fixation.
Application
Clips with clamping arms - a universal version of fasteners, which is suitable for all pipe diameters and all types of surfaces.
Clip modifications:
- Round with fastener for corrugated and smooth pipes. Provides reliable fixation of the product due to its girth from all sides.
- Type F is a dowel with one or two curved arms. Fastening is carried out with screws in a specially prepared hole.
- Sliding fasteners. The clip allows you to group pipes of different diameters.
Plastic clips are not afraid of temperature extremes and are resistant to impact UV rays, which makes them suitable for outdoor use.
Installation features
Fastening is carried out without additional elements - the pipe is simple inserted into the clip. There are models with mounting hole, and these are considered preferable since there is the ability to select self-tapping screws yourself (depending on the tasks).
Models with self-tapping screws and dowels with nails allow create complex engineering systems, with fixing to the ceiling and any other surfaces.
Of the tools, only a punch is required to make holes for dowels or screws. The result is a reliable, aesthetic design with the ability to remove fasteners at any time.
