PVC corrugations
PVC corrugations are pipes that are widely used in electrical work. It is possible to carry out various types of wiring, external and internal laying and provide it with reliable mechanical protection and fire safety. The pipes, depending on the type, are equipped with a special probe for the convenience of tightening the cable into the pipe.
PVC corrugation classification
By product type there are:
- Light type - these are pipes designed for open installation, for example, for installation under a hinged ceiling, plasterboard sheathing.
- Heavy type - this type of PVC corrugated pipe, these pipes can be used when laying under a layer of concrete in a floor screed or underground.
- Super heavy - have a high margin of safety. They are used in cases where increased requirements for loads are required when laying under a layer of concrete in a floor screed.
By design, PVC corrugation is divided into:
The corrugation is produced with probes, it is a steel wire. During installation, the cable is connected to the probe so that it is easy to pull it out from back side. Usually, PVC pipes are supplied with a broach with a length of more than 10 meters.
Product features
Corrugation characteristics:
- Corrosion resistant.
- Waterproof.
- Self-extinguishing - will not ignite on short-term exposure to open fire and high temperatures.
- Flexibility to save on connection costs.
- Low cost. PVC corrugations are cheaper than other pipes. materials such as stainless steel or HDPE.
- Durability. Products can serve up to 20 years without loss of workers characteristics.
Standards - GOST 32126.1-2013; GOST 50827-95 (IEC 670-89); EN 61386-1; RU 61386-22; TU2247-008-47022248-2002

Selection Tips
The diameter of the product is chosen depending on the cross-section of the wire laid in the pipe:
- Corrugation Ø 16 mm - used for wires supplying current to luminaires;
- Pipe Ø20 mm will be required when wiring sockets and switches, computer and TV cables;
- Ø 25 mm - for connecting junction boxes;
- Ø 32 mm - for connecting electrical panels:
- Ø 40-50 mm - for interfloor wiring.
